Norway Rats

Also known as the black rat, the Norway rat measures about 8 to 10 inches in length, with brown to dark-gray fur and a skinny tail. They are the largest rats—as well as the most common—to invade Arizona homes and businesses. Norway rats nest near or under the ground and emerge to scavenge for food mostly at night.
